Why a technology company should build its own products
Shipping software that people pay for every month changes how a team makes decisions. It is the most honest test of engineering we know.

Most technology firms are paid to deliver projects. The project ends, the team moves on, and whatever happens to the software afterwards is someone else’s problem. We decided early that NWEE would work differently: we would build and run our own products, and bring what we learn to every system we build for others.
Operating software changes how you build it
When you run a product, you are the one paged when it fails. You feel every slow page, every confusing screen and every support ticket. That feedback makes a team careful about the decisions that only show up months later: how data is modeled, how releases are tested, how errors are reported.
LunarBid, our proposal platform for freelancers and agencies, is where we practise this every day. The people who design its AI features are the same people responsible for keeping them fast, reliable and secure.
What this means for the organizations we work with
When we build for a bank, a logistics company or a public institution, we bring product habits with us: small releases, measurable goals, security designed in from the start and documentation written for the team that will maintain the system after us.
Our products are not a side business. They are how we keep our engineering honest.
